E45
10–20 min · Every 45 Seconds

Every 45 seconds on the 45. The extra 15 seconds over E30 gives more room for complex movements, cleans, short press complexes, or any movement that needs a reset between reps. This timer fires an audio cue every 45 seconds; configure 10 to 20 rounds before you start.

How It Works
1
Configure the number of rounds (10–20) before starting. The timer fires a start beep and the first 45-second window begins immediately.
2
Complete your reps within the window, then rest until the next beep. With 45 seconds you can comfortably do 5–8 reps of most movements and still have meaningful rest.
3
The extra 15 seconds over E30 makes this the right format for cleans, push presses, and any movement where setup time matters. A completion tone fires after the final round.
FAQ

When should I use E45 instead of E30?

Use E45 when your movement has more setup — cleans and re-grips, press complexes, or heavy swings that need a back-swing reset. E30 is tight for anything but pure ballistics. E45 gives room to move well and still rest meaningfully before the next window.

How many reps per 45-second window?

5–8 reps for most movements. For complexes (e.g., clean + press), 3–5 reps per side. You should finish with at least 10–15 seconds of rest. If you're rushing to beat the beep, reduce reps or weight.

What weight should I use?

Similar to your E30 working weight or slightly heavier since the extra time allows for heavier loads. For single-arm work, most men use 24–32 kg. For complexes, load to your press maximum.

Does the timer work offline?

Yes. Iron Timer is a PWA. After the first load it works without internet and the screen stays on throughout your session.

Can I use E45 for double-bell work?

Yes. The 45-second window is particularly useful for double-KB movements like double cleans or double presses where you need time to set the grip and position properly.
